i don't understand what you are saying (my bad)
do you mean your car don't have a middle pipe at the moment?
and i think you will have to get a new manifold with the cat. on?

I dont think you need a new mani, its a new down pipe that has the cat on....spensive too .
If there isnt a cat on it will be very loud and smell like petrol.
