can some one please tell me were the cat is located on the 206 gti 180
or if some one can post a pitcure of the exaust system from underneth will be great

It's on the exhaust straight after the manifold...

on the down pipe, look underneith the car just behind the engine its there, it is attached to the downpipe.

cant see it guys i think its been removed aswell as the middle section

i don't understand what you are saying (my bad)

do you mean your car don't have a middle pipe at the moment?

and i think you will have to get a new manifold with the cat. on?

I dont think you need a new mani, its a new down pipe that has the cat on....spensive too Laughing .

If there isnt a cat on it will be very loud and smell like petrol.

Iirc they are around £600 new, could be wrong though.

On an upside your car will feel so much better with the cat back on.

Should be in your straigt bit of pipe, if it isnt it must have been taken off, do you have an engine managment light and anti pollution fault?

I Reckon it would cost around £200 for a universal one fitted anyhow so i guess it makes no real difference which way you go.

seems to be no engine management light on or any other lights on dash ?
talked to pug he aint budging from 200
