cam belt and water pump

ok so i need a cambelt and water pump for my gti 180
peugeot want about 160 for both
i thought that was a bit overpriced so wanted to know if anyone agreed or know's where else to get them from

Does that include parts?
if so then go get it done before they change there mind about the price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's just for parts?

EDIT: ref 83193 Peugeot cambelt kit £124.02 + VAT
ref 1201K1 Peugeot water pump £51.43 + VAT
Fanbelt approx. £12.00

NB: those refs are for my car (54-plate), there are TWO different water pumps

From factors:
ECP # 201735125 - water pump (ASC branded) RRP £47.64 + VAT
ECP # 348774155 - T/belt Kit CT1110K2 RRP £97.95 + VAT
ECP # 202771765 - Fanbelt 6PK1200 RRP £10.50 + VAT
GSF # N12975 - Cambelt Kit (INA branded) RRP £59.00 + VAT

it's only for the belt alone i'm getting new cams in in a couple of weeks so the garage fitting them will put the new belt on but want to change water pump aswell

That would just be parts, the quoted me £400 for the cambelt and water pump on my 2.0HDI. I had it done by Kris B for £210 on Saturday.

He would be bit of a treck for you tho, best bet would be to shop around

i paid £430.03 fully fitted for cambelt kit, waterpump, auxillery belt and coolant change.

couldnt get hold of the right tools for the variable valve timing to do it myself and didnt fancy messing it up Confused
on a plus side it feels a lot more responsive since i picked it up when on a bit of a roadtrip yesterday and it flies Very Happy

Yeah mate go for pug parts because the water pump comes with a modified water housing! The ones on the car are plastic and the new ones are aluminium, and if you fit a aluminium pump to plastic housing, it quite offten cracks! Yeah I ordered my parts from pug at trade was about £150, when I was on phone I asked how much to fit, was £538 just for fitting! Lol good job I do it for a living! Even tho I havnt done it yet as I have to buy a timing locking kit!

wait do you mean to buy the parts they are £160 for cam belt kit and 160 for water pump??

if so then you getting rapped hard side ways

the water pump retail with vat is £70 gen pug one?? and yes all ways get gen water pump on this. as for cam belt just order a gates cambelt kit that what in pug box lol and alot cheaper.

i thought you ment surply and fitting for £300 lol
