Keskin Wheel Project...

#1: Keskin Wheel Project... Author: gavstar, Location: Beds PostPosted: Wed Oct 27, 2010 4:50 am

I bought these wheels off a mate in an awful state, after a bit of pondering with what I should do with them I decided that I would keep them for my next car (talk about thinking ahead) lol

So the refurb process started.
A guy I do quite a bit of iphone repair work for owns his own powdercoaters, so I dropped them off to him to get shot blasted.

This took away alot of the imperfections on the rim itself where it had been curbed to hell, and also took off all the coating the wheels had and smoothed everything off...

Then off to the refurbishers to be properly smoothed out...Guy has done a great job and if anyone is local to the Bedfordshire area I highly encourage you to check out Unique Creationz at SG4 8NZ, go see Chris.

So the next day I get a call to say theyre all done (super quick service) and I went to collect them.

This is how they currently stand and will be sent off for powdercoating tomorrow (28.10.10) so ill whack an update on once I get them back Smile

Update: These JUST turned up at my door Very Happy all the way from Germany...

I don't know how people spend so much on alloy wheels when they clearly can't park or know the dimensions of their car lol. Looking good now though!

Will have to see how the 206 takes to having 9J's all round Very Happy
