I hate it if somebody creates an accident just to make money but if you have had a non fault accident most people will claim insurance is never goiing to go down as insurance companys just find other things to make it go up ie the type of car pollution the list goes on so if you think about it a claim isn't going to change sweet fa Just my opinion.

If you claim for an injury that you havent got and you are found out it will lead to a case of fraud at the end of the day.

Simple no injury no claim.

Fair point but as I have a relative in insurance i now most of the time if you have a doctors note that don't even bother checking a let's face it that isn't hard to get. I respect your opinion but like I said that's my opinion.

Am I the only one who thinking this...
Unless that roundabout had a sign to say that the left lane is just to go left & the right lane is straight over and right... You were in the wrong lane & it's your fault... But I'm guessing it must have been one of 'those' roundabouts then... Rolling Eyes

99% of people who have crashes claim whiplash some people even create accidents so they can claim. So 1 more claim isn't going to make any difference plus think wot you could spend the money on people not going to like wot I have said I now thatbut just my opinion. I would have gone straight to a&e.

does that go for the other thousands out there whom probably think the same?

people who make claims when there's absolutely nothing wrong with them are as bad in my books as lazy scummy scrounging dole dossers who cant be arsed or want to look for work.

medium rant over, off for a cuppa...

I was thinking about this to, cause normally the left hand lane would be left and straight on to me.. right lane for turning right only, meh i duno does depend on the roundabout. Laughing

lol no im not in the wrong at all...it happened in milton keynes which is full of roundabouts...and the rule is if there's 2 lanes one both sides of the roundabout being in the right lane to go straight is fine, whereas he was in the left land to go right...so i dont know how your making it out 2 be my fault? lol plus why would he admit it was his fault if it was mine??

Insurance companys take take take so why not get a bit bk when you can As longeatonlad said you do get people who abuse it. But I would claim for the simple reason I wouldn't drive an accident damaged car and the claim would help towards my new one which if the incompetent driver hadn't have crashed in to me I wouldn't need. And just for the record I have worked since leaving school and have 3 nvq level three qualifications so I'm non of the above. Like I keep saying my opinion and Im not changeing it last I have to say on the subject. Btw hope your car gets sorted quick for you mate.

Oh I see. You mean so it was a dual carriageway going to a dual carriageway... & he wanted to go right... I thought he'd been going left, then decided to go straight on... I'm not making it out to be your fault, I was simply questioning it!

I'm not saying nothing I was just wondering on the roundabout. If it was a roundabout like right lane to go right, and left lane to go straight and left only, you'd have both been in the wrong lane lol. Not making it out to be your fault was just wondering..

It's just like the election where people say one vote won't make a difference.

When 10,000 people think the same, it does make a difference.

Nick I think your confusing the issue here. Everyone is saying dont make a claim for an injury if there is no injury. No one has said not to make a claim to get the car fixed because thats what you pay insurance for. Just dont abuse it by claiming for something that isnt there.
