#4: Re: B16A engine on 206, what do u guys think Author: Big_Rich180, Posted: Mon Nov 01, 2010 10:47 am ---- just put a 180 engine in there, it will be faster and easier to do and probably cheaper, B16 engines are over rated appart for reliability.

#8: Re: B16A engine on 206, what do u guys think Author: Guyrichie, Location: Workington, CumbriaPosted: Mon Nov 01, 2010 12:39 pm ---- The dudes in Denmark was a b16a not a b
And well bcos a 180 is running what 160 max a b16b is about 185
A standard ek9 will beat a standard 180 all day long

who run a standard engine nowadays?
and if you are talking about tuning potential i can't see a 1.6 engine could beat a 2.0 engine
#11: Re: B16A engine on 206, what do u guys think Author: Guyrichie, Location: Workington, CumbriaPosted: Mon Nov 01, 2010 1:44 pm ---- If your talking about tuning then search for turbod or supercharged b16b I very much dowt a charged 180 engine will beat it .
It's not all about engine size

and i think is a waste to turbo charge B16b as well, and even waste to put silly amount of hp into a FWD lol
#13: Re: B16A engine on 206, what do u guys think Author: Guyrichie, Location: Workington, CumbriaPosted: Mon Nov 01, 2010 2:00 pm ---- that is impressive but i still think a b16b turbo will beat it
#14: Re: B16A engine on 206, what do u guys think Author: Guyrichie, Location: Workington, CumbriaPosted: Mon Nov 01, 2010 2:02 pm ---- it probley is a waste but the op was asking about droping one is his car not turboin it
