if the engine you guys are on about is from a type r it would rape a 180 if it was in a 206, my mate has a type r and it p**ses on my gt and the civic is alot heavier too so it wouldnt even be a contest

depends on which civic are you looking at.

EK9 definitely weight less than a 206 and could easily cut the weight below 1 ton. New civic are just big fat chick..... Laughing

well im on about a 2003 type r the best one, its deffo heavy then my 206 in my opinion its longer, chunkier feels better built more solid, but it could be lighter i have no figures but from looks and feel id say the civic is heavy the old golf is much heavy then the 206 and thats the same size, anyway that engine has 200bhp and is a millioon times better then a 180 engine

no we are on about the b-series engines much better imo

and if you think the ep civics are good you should really try s ek9 so so much better lighter better handling and most probly faster ???

V Tack is nothing special, it's a good idea in theory but have fun finding your torque.
I've been in Type R's and wasn't impressed. The 180 is a better car (and I'm not even fond of them any more!).

Quoting peak BHP is pointless when you don't go near it until 7k RPM...
