Thought great! That looks smart and it'll charge it at the same time! so off I trot to halfords to buy it, I buy it, get home and plug it in... then I realise there was a huge flaw with my plan ... the cigar lighter is right next to the gear stick, although an optimal position for my phone, not optimal for the gear stick hitting my phone.
So, what would you suggest?
Installing another cigarette lighter somewhere else?
Selling this one and buying another one (a vent one) (any recommendations please!) ?
Thanks
maybe next time i'll think more before I go buying

Ive only just started using my 206 so been trying my phone out in differant places. As it is I've now got a spare ash tray and converting it into a holder for my iPhone as I use it for music as well.
I will put pics up once all sorted.

Just Google them - I think the 206 has 4-5 places where you can have a Proclip. Really looks smart.

But you don't drill them.. the Pro Clips just clip in (hence the name!), and you screw the holder to the ProClip. So when you ut a come to sell your car you can just unclip the Proclip and then buy a new one for your new car.

man who would've thought it'd be so difficult to find a holder for a htc hero :l
#9: Re: Phone Holder Author: kiph, Location: Chelmsford, EssexPosted: Mon Nov 01, 2010 11:46 am ---- I know they are pricey , but well worth it.. I had one for my Hero, very nice to have it charging too, it meant I used to have Google Maps Navigation on for directions
the point is it shows taking 12v from the reading/map light, converting it to 5v (what most in-car gadgets use) and getting into the visor - so why not a phone charger/holder in the visor?

that's quite a good idea ... might consider it, ta
ok so i've just found out i can return it within 28 days ... so I'm going to get my Dad to take it back for me, because I'll be at college.
So the story ends happy, and I've learnt my lesson!
