I bought this in November 08 as a standard xsi

First things to be done were a 55mm drop at the front and supposidly 1 click at the rear(i think its maybe 2??), i also stuck on a set of dark lexus lights and a peco 4" jap exhaust.

Next thing was rear tints and black angel eyes and a damn good clean!!

Since the last pics Ive removed the angel eyes because I had a set of morrettes on their way to me so sold the angels then the guy with the morettes decided to keep them Evil or Very Mad I also had to remove the sunstrip for MOT, got a lot of plans for it this summer as I have to wiat til after my wedding to free up the pug funds!

Get the back raised up by someone who doesn't use the ancient 'click' method or its bye bye axle time Wink

Ive been on a mission for a while to get the rear raised, not many people want to tackle a torison bar around here so the only person i know that does them says thats only 1 click. I totally agree with yous the back end is far too low. I want it to sit right for a set of 17's (i dont want half the wheel up in the arch lol)

there's bound to be a way of setting it higher than that but not standard right??

Time to bring this post back from the dead!! I didnt really do much modifications ways over the past year more sorting different running problems like head gasket (it was in the early stages of going), full exhaust from manifold back, getting rear axle bearing done suprise suprise but now everythings running the way it should ive decided to tidy it up a bit. Over the past month or 2 ive masked the front lights, had the front windows and sunstrip done in medium smoke and then on Saturday I got my roof done in gloss black vinyl. The car is entered into a local show at the end of March so by then Im getting the rear axle lowered a little bit as its sitting too high compared to the front at the mo, painting the wheels in graphite and adding wind deflectors. May get a few other things done money pending. Id love to do a lot more but funds are currently going into my holiday to Florida at the mo.

So what do ya's think of the small update? Any suggestions of low budget things I could do before the show??

Different wheels is a start mate, nims would look swish

Mask the inner fogs black too

And i that is 2 clicks, it is arguable that it decreases axle life time but tbh i would say its just as bad as lowering the axle in the first place. Notch method or mm method either way is fine IMO

It was '2 clicks' but it was raised when the bearings were redone, its now '1 click' which isnt enough to match the front lol. It used to be too low at the rear now its too high. Ive got a fella lined up that lowers in mm rather than clicks so he's gonna sort it perfectly. I think im gonna have to do the fogs, they really take the orange/black theme away lol. Cant really afford to change the wheels til the end of June so gonna just graphite the wheels that are on it for now.

Heres a pic to show the rear being a little too high, oh and before somebody suggests changing the rear spoiler to a gti I like the 1 thats on it, I actually took a gti spoiler off to put this on Wink

Its not, if you look at the 1st and 2nd pic at the top of the page they are standard height, there's a good 1" to 1.5" of a difference but i need it another 1" or so down
