HI my engine has just blown on my 206 1.4LX. I understand that if I am to replace my engine it has to be the same one with the same number.
Is this correct. If so where do I find this number please help.
Sad

Many Thanks.. is this all I need to know. Does it have to be fitted by the garage mechanic or can it be fitted by a novice with some mechanical experience.?

If you've got some mechanical experience you can't be a complete novice. I reckon if you make plenty of notes & take loads of pics of what goes where & with a Haynes manual, you can do it.

You better get a garage to do it if you use the car daily
if its a second car or something then there is no harm in trying but get a haynes manual first Wink
