no probs. i'd check you have the two front fog plugs free hanging in the engine bay (you might not) and then look at your fusebox to see if there is a slot for the fuse or whether it's blanked out (like my original).

Sorry about resurrecting a very old thread, but I want to do something similar.

The bumper of our 206 Style got damaged so I'm fitting a new one with fog cut-outs as I have a pair of fogs collecting dust in the garage. So far so good ... but when I come to search for the wiring and plugs, I can only find ONE on the passenger side. That's a grey plug ... I can't find any spare connectors on the driver's side apart from a brown plug hooked up near the bonnet catch ... which suggests to my that's probably something to do with an alarm.

So how do the fogs wire up on a multiplex 206? ... one plug which then splits into two (so it there a separate wiring kit? Found nothing on ServiceBox). If anyone has a multiplex car with front fogs, what colours are the wiring plugs on the back of each one and if you can see, the wiring colours which would help trace it to the loom. My daughters CC is non-plex so wiring will probably be different.

I know I'll need a new comm2000 unit (£££s) as the existing one only has the rear fog light setting, but that can come later (I've got PP2000 so I can reprogram the BSI as well).

(Yes I know I could put in a separate switch but I'd like to try and make it all look as standard as possible).

Anyone??

All I need to know is are there one of two fog light connections on a MUX and if two where is the wotsit on the driver's side hiding?!? Smile

I've done this. had a 206 LX (Mux) I had the fog plugs already on the car. think they're grey IIRC. after the bumper and fogs, i changed my COM2000 (indicator stalk was dodgy anyways) activated in PP2000, front fog light symbol on dash appeared but still no lights up front. Discovered that I had to change the engine bay fuse box from a BSM B2 to BSM B3 (extra fuse for fog lights).

I know i could of done it cheaper with wiring it up myself but i like to be OEM Smile

Good Luck

The colour of the wire will just confuse you even more. Peugeot use numbers on the wires.

You need wire numbers 2060 and 2061. Both run from the engine bay fusebox to the foglamps according to the wiring diagram.
Your earth should be MC10B and MC11B run to the earthing point behind each headlamp.

OK ... found it. It was up in the engine bay lying alongside the loom. It was only when I was lying under the car looking up I found it.

So next job is to complete the rebuild of the front end .... Smile

Next decision is whether to colour-code the bumper insert ... I've got two so I guess I could paint one and leave one and decide that way.

I had a similar situation when I wanted to add the map reading light inside mine. I had a dig around and found the connector already fitted but hidden.

Potentially annoying job just becomes easy. Smile

your existing stalk will operate the front fogs once activated with PP2000, only thing is it won't have the logo on the stalk for front fogs.

don't forget you need the front fog fuse on the engine bay fusebox.

There IS a sticker for the com unit, I've no idea of the part number OR of its still available on its own but it does exist as it comes in the kits.
