Everyone knows that you can only display a Nurburgring sticker if you've been there, its an unwritten Nurburg law.
yup! there's loads around carlisle... they should have 'neverbeen' written below the 'ring' sticker...
i will go oneday...

I can't stand people talking crap about cars, pet hate of mine I guess. None of the mods represent anything of what the Euro/German/cleaned style is about, and claiming you raced and beat an obviously superior car is never going to go down well on a forum is it!

This is probably true. Ape knows a thing or 2 about the 1.4 16v engine, If you were seriously interested in pushing the power up a little further I'm sure he'd be willing to help.
lol, cheers mate. I had 2 engines at one point both got stripped and rebuilt
I might redo my old timeline actually

what are u all getting so moody about hes just put some pictures up of his car and wrote what he thought about it maybe he got it wrong, so what get over it, there's really no need for all these nasty comments just trying to make him feel bad, this is meant to be a friendly site if you cant at least be nice maybe you shouldnt comment at all.

Leave the guy along lol, i do agree you need to do a few more mods too look realy euro tho. The slammage is good along with the pressed plates you have if my eyes dont decive me....
I think a nice set of deep dish wheels with some stretched rubber would go down a treat.
One cheap mod I would recomend is to de-wiper the back at only the price of a 22mm grommit.
As for everyone taking the p**s out of the nurburg ring sticker, he hasnt even said thats hes not gone, that im aware of anyway. So f**k up lol

Well let me argue from the other side....
I can't understand the whole argument about a petty sticker. It's a sticker. Nothing more, nothing less.
You haven't 'earned' it. Anyone can go there. Anyone can pay. Anyone can then get a sticker. Fair enough you have pride. For driving around a track though? Come off it, you've hardly done something that nobody else can do...
Lay off the guy. New site and everything, but you've all collectively probably just scared the guy off.
Well done.

Easy Ross, for all we know the guy has little knowledge of what is Euro, and thought his car was. He's not talking crap about his car really is he, he just thought it was Euro. He can say he beat a VTS, but we all know it may not have been a VTS, or the guy may have been lieing. If the latter, then fine, leave it. No need to try and belittle the guy is there? Im not having a go, but he's decided to show us his car and he's been shot down! He's new for Christ's sake as well!

I agree completely. I'd only buy Jamies 180 because I know how well he looks afer his car. You cant always get that from an advert though!
