#3: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Sun Nov 21, 2010 5:12 pm ---- Matter of debate.. some will say just tiger seal will do the job and have it supported by masking tape as it dries for the day.
Spoilers that came on 206s out the factory were bonded and bolted into the car, no idea how thats done though.

#5: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: meady, Location: basingstokePosted: Sun Nov 21, 2010 5:30 pm ---- jus buy a tube of tiger seal for £6 and bond it on. only takes a few hours to dry and its solid as a rock
#7: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: Lee., Location: Blackwood, South WalesPosted: Sun Nov 21, 2010 6:54 pm ---- Tigerseal and stick it on, did my old car with it and you could pick the back end of the car up with it when it had gone off!

#9: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: liltoads206, Location: HaverhillPosted: Mon Nov 22, 2010 7:04 am ---- yeh thought you might say tiger seal but is it really that good? would it really stay on if im doing 70etc lol down the motorway?
#10: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Mon Nov 22, 2010 7:12 am ---- Peugeot dealership did mine too.. bolted and bonded in my case. £218 to buy it, have it sprayed and fitted. A lot of labour going in on their part so I thought it was fair
#11: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: SAB206, Location: North WestPosted: Thu Dec 09, 2010 6:44 pm ---- I personally wouldn't recommend just relying on a PU sealant like tiger seal.
Can't beat gold old Screws with tiger seal for extra protection.
It's not you that crashes when it falls off, it's the person behind... not worth it
#12: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: Baz206, Location: InvernessPosted: Fri Dec 10, 2010 3:57 am ---- I just bonded mine on , about 4 months ago,

#15: Re: Fitting a spoiler Author: Kersh, Location: Bridgnorth, Nr WolverhamptonPosted: Fri Dec 10, 2010 5:15 am ---- mines just glued on with tiger seal, works a treat..
its survived a 7 hour drive at over 80mph on a hot day so it passes the test for me.. been on for months now
i found drilling half holes in the bit on the spoiler where it glues to the car (like 2-3mm deep) works perfectly at giving a rough bonding surface.. that combined with keying the car paint and jobs a good'un
