How do you remove your aerial antenna

I brought a new small aerial antenna for my car but can't get the old one off I thought it just unscrew but it don't or it's stuck can anyone help please

Front or rear mounted?

EDIT: i see its front, take the interior light unit out using a flathead screwdriver then remove the metal casing 'thing' covering the nut under the aerial then you will need a socket to get the nut off then the aerial just pulls out from the top, quite easy really

WD40 and pull? hard? dunno

gotta be easier with it off anyway i would think only takes 2 mins
