To be honest, I was going less than 10MPH around a downhill corner, pressed the brakes as seen another car had crashed and I went straight on into the curb, it was pretty much a hairpin bend, me and the missus both got a big shock when we got out the car and seen the damage... I just hope nothing else has been damaged like but who knows, car won't be moving tomorrow, even for work.. Could have been worse too.

Drive safe in the snow, or not at all, we only went out as we had no food in the house and we were desperate lol.

I trust my own driving rather more than that of bus drivers at the best of times. Plus if things go wrong I'd rather have seatbelts and airbags.

i slid on some black ice a year ago and shunted he kirb pretty hard as i was turning in so the wheel was flat to the kirb some dopey audi driver decided to dart out of the junction i was taking and stop half way to talk to some kids when i had to serve to avoid it.

the outcome was a bent wishbone and trackrod.

Was that in a 206, if so was it much to repair?

yeah it was on my Dturbo, the parts cost in the reigon of £50-60 and they were fitted by myself and the old man. so i saved a pretty penny on labour.

the wishbones are a PITA to change.
