tried to start my diesel earlier and well it almost started but i think it was struggling because its like -3 out there
now it sounds like the battery is dying, its a 1.9D 206 s reg
is it pre or multiplexed?
and if its preplexed can i just whip the battery out to charge without softbooting?
cheers

#3: Re: diesel battery dying Author: Leer0y1, Location: folkestonePosted: Fri Dec 03, 2010 1:01 pm ---- it doesnt have the factory radio anymore, but ive never been asked for a code?
so i would have to softboot?

When starting, turn the key to ignition for a couple of seconds and then back to accessory about three times, this will force the glow plugs to heat up and ease starting

as its not plexed i can just whip the batt out yeah? and having an aftermarket head unit wont cause any issues?

The radio will be fine if its aftermarket.
No, you don't need to softboot on a non-plexed
