Well its a big deal to me so no need to be a total ass about it
Its obviously not meant to be in the uk which is why im questioning it
Yeah you dont car because it aint your car. So if you aint got anything decent to post then dont bother

My guess is that the car was ordered from a dealer in southern ireland but the brought across the border to northern ireland(part of the uk) and registered here because in the south the pug specs are xr xt etc.... and in norn ireland its L lx rg gti s se etc... and because rg was the closest to xt it was reg'd as that.

It would explain everything importing from north-south or south-north is very common over here

Sounds interesting, surprised it's not got electric folding mirrors seeing as it has the rest of the spec though.

To be honest i think your somewhere close to the mark here... my money is on it was made in the uk with the intention of being sent to another country that has XT's but the order was canceled, or as Chris said from ireland.
Im pretty sure someone signed up to here the other day from abroad somewhere with an XT but i cant remember his name!

EDIT: LOL his name is funnily enough 206Xt hes from Costa Rica, might be interesting to compare features and spec...

...because he thought his comment was worth more than your reply could ever be....

Fact is, he put it down plain for the OP, in one post, like several others that got glossed over, that it is infact a non uk spec 206 which is obvious by the XT, the OP replied sayin 'well i care, its my car' but he didn't care enough to check the data on the car before buying it did he? Or even double checking his insurance??
The thing is, it's all well and good saying you don't know what model it is, and starting a thread about it, but not reading the replies is the same as not reading the logbook, which when it said RG should of rung some kinda bell. *having looked into the 206 range before buying....*

Ryan - have you been in touch with the dealer who supplied the car? (they should have stamped the service book).
Spoken to any of the previous owners?

I can email you a picture with every detail about your car if you like ?

build dates , paint codes , vin , reg , where it was bought from, first owner , warrenty dates ??

alot of people dont realise you get a 10 year warrenty on chassis defaults on most cars !

That would be ace if you could mate, hopefully might give me a better insight to the car with how rare it is to be registered in the uk

How can you get all that info anyway? pretty clever

I totally agree with chrisd. Your car was probably originally in a dealership in Southern Ireland. Some of these cars ended up in Northern Ireland and once in a while (not often) in the Isle of Man. Believe it or not my Pug was first bought in a dealership in Belgium. (even though it is RHD).
