#1: what engine is this from? Author: greenpug2222, Location: bradfordPosted: Thu Dec 09, 2010 3:35 am ---- Hi all,
New here but ben advised to post my issue here.
Recently bought 206 1.4lx 2000 w reg at auction, so didnt get too good a look around it.
When i bagged it for a lowly £600 (12 months mot + 1 months tax) i was happy.
Well it drives great but i do have 1 issue.
When i opened the bonnet sat there looking at me is a citroen badged engine. It looks exactly the same as an origional pug 1.4 engine should (tu modle i think) and runs fine, but if i had to get parts i would not know what to order for.
Can anyone please tell me what citroen cars shared there engine with pugeot of this type.
thanks
p.s no pics yet sorry

The TU engine can be found in Peugeot 106 and 206 mainly. If its a Citroen then more than likey it will have come from a Saxo

remove the heat shield on the manifold and look under the manifold. you can see it at the right angle
