Hi all,

New here but ben advised to post my issue here.

Recently bought 206 1.4lx 2000 w reg at auction, so didnt get too good a look around it.
When i bagged it for a lowly £600 (12 months mot + 1 months tax) i was happy.
Well it drives great but i do have 1 issue.

When i opened the bonnet sat there looking at me is a citroen badged engine. It looks exactly the same as an origional pug 1.4 engine should (tu modle i think) and runs fine, but if i had to get parts i would not know what to order for.
Can anyone please tell me what citroen cars shared there engine with pugeot of this type.

thanks

p.s no pics yet sorry

It wont be TU1 if its a 1.4, itll be a TU3 engine...

The TU engine can be found in Peugeot 106 and 206 mainly. If its a Citroen then more than likey it will have come from a Saxo Smile

best to give citreon and/or peugeot a call and see what they can do for you mate, citreon and peugeot both have the same part numbers if u ever need to order anything !
