Hi Very Happy
Had an MOT on Monday and this is what it failed on.

1. Emissions Test- Should of been 3.0 was 3.2 on second test

2. WindScreen Washers Provide insufficient liquid.

3. Rear Brake Load sensing valve linkage seized

4. Headlamps aim too low
(I have crystals and they do not have the adjustment motor on the back of the lights :/ Originally frosted headlamps)

Any advice on what to do, this was my 1st MOT.
Thanks

4)Get adjusters fitted so you can play with the level of the lights. around £10 for two of ebay.
2)...probably dodgy washers? replace for few quid but first check your washer liquid is topped up?
1) pretty close, take it for a spin and warm it up before mot, maybe super unleaded petrol?

Check your washer nozzles are not blocked or even frozen in the recent weather.

Re: emissions, take the car on a high speed road and blast it through. I always put some fuel additive (redex or similar) through mine a couple weeks before the MOT, and give it a long run somewhere to blow out any cr@p.

once you put things like redex in, you have to use them all the time.

Use premium fuel instead
