Hey everyone.

I came out. To my car this morning turned the key and nothings . No clicking no stuttering nothing. It just won't start at all. The engine diagnostic light is on ad the battery light. The radio is on the lights the wipers but no a/c. Is it the battery or something worse?

If it was battery wouldn't it at least click. Starter motor or battery.

...I'd say an almost fully drained battery hence the missing relay click...Do the lights on the dash come on...?

Jump leads to another car and try starting it. If it starts ok and everythings working then its the battery!

Don't think it's the battery. My dad came to mine and we tried to jump it but nothing happened at all. After the day I had yesterday this really did top it off!!

Update on dead car!

She lives!

Just had a call from the land rover garage over the road from where I live . They said they towed it onto the main road bumped it off and now everything is working fine. No idea what it was? £10 repair !

Just worried it might happen again now lol don't know if something was stuck or a loose connection . Mystery!

Ne one any ideas?

anyone feel free to jump in and correct me if the Pug setup is different but when I had this on my fiat it was a sticky starter solenoid. Fantastic thing to go, just an intermittent fault reliably solved (temporarily) by smacking it with a hammer. Deeply satisfying and manly solution to the problem. Twisted Evil
