Used to be my dads plate, has our initials in it so he gave it to me when i got my car. I know its not worth anything but means something to us and hides the age of the car Smile

Right couple of small bits i did today while i wait for my bumper to be done...

Firstly went and picked up these sp side repeaters today very pleased £10.50 the pair:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Also, soon after my OCD took over and i noticed all sorts of crap on and wedged in my roof bars so they came out for the first time in their life:

All the grime before a blast with the Karcher:

Crap cleaned out but baked on grime that can be seen with the bars in still to get rid of, so out came the AG SRP:

A few minutes of elbow grease later and they are spotless, like new paint:

Bars back in, with some Sonus bumper gel to dress them, lovely:

Yes, i have OCD and that particular episode should probably be on detailing world? Rolling On The Floor Laughing and sorry about dutty car, c+c welcomed as always

Jord

I might buy some of that bumper gel for my roof bars and wing mirrors, were the roof bars hard to take out?

VERY true Jammo. Like the repeaters. How did you get the bar out?

Haha probably... gives me plenty of time to waste my OCD on though Laughing

Bars just pull out with one retaining plastic screw near the bottom by the bonnet, i pulled it out and you don't need it after they go back on fine just push back on, its quite clear how they stay on once you get them off Smile and cheers

Right a few small changed and additions first my new full leather front seats with loopy headrests. Great upgrade as they are mint, like new and my old GTi half leathers were VERY worn and torn

Also a few stickers, Wheel whores and FCS, had to do a little custom job on the petrol cap sticker to allow the keyhole to be used, came out rather well though i think, very neat

Also gave her a proper clean, well, "detail" today for a few hours in the baking sun, got my tan on lol Cool
A few random pics:
