#409: Re: Jord's White 206 Project *PAGE 27 NEW WHEELS* Author: JordGJ, Location: Leeds / West MidlandsPosted: Sun Sep 04, 2011 12:37 pm ---- Update
trial fitted the wheels today, good news is i don't need to raise the back, bad news is i need to space out the fronts slightly as they foul the coilovers
they don't sit right at all now, the tyres need to be changed for something with a lot of the stretch, and the rears need spacing out 10/15mm
so for now, i can't run them but will get the stance right and they will look ace!
sorry for the crap pictures, was on my bb
Jord

And flat centre caps. The dish isn't that big but the flat centres make it seem so much bigger. I just need to get my arches rolled and then I can lower the back a little bit more and I'll be happy with mine. Yours will be sitting the same as mine just about ET5 all round

Having your arches rolled doesn't change the look at all. It's just folding the bit of the wing that pokes inward (parallel to the ground) back onto the inner wing to stop it rubbing and will give about 10mm more clearance hopefully

Surely if they are spaced out even further they will deffo fail?
Feel free to correct me if im wrong though ?

if you read what i wrote above, the tyres will be stretched quite a lot, allowing the rims to sit flush with the arch (on the front) and poking out slightly (on the back) and the tyre TREADS to be inside the arches... = stance (and legal)
those tyres in the pictures have gone, i'll be getting new ones
