Got a tapping noise coming right where the oil cap is. Friend suggested its the tappets thats gone.
I went got an oil and filter change, put fully synth 5w in it but its still there. Got it booked in on thursday for them to have a look at it. Any idea how much this will cost? Not the best time of year for this to happen....

Also my temp goes crazy when stuck in traffic, to the point i have to switch it off or hope I can get some speed up. Already had the sensor changed but it hasnt helped Mad

Has anyone had these problems? Are they related in anyway?

You tested the fan to see if it works?

Did they flush it when they changed the oil? Or was it literally just a oil drop?
