one thing i forgot to ask... the towing rope thingy, when it's being pulled, does it put any pressure on the back bumper (ie, is it touching the bumper) because when it gets towed by a truck, the height of the rinch may put too much pressure on the buper and crack/break it.

if you get what i mean. lol

done this a couple of times just heat them up gently with a hairdryer then pick at the corner and peel off gently if they are quite new or you are lucky they will peel straight off then just give it a quick polish if they have gone quite hard they may leave the sticky residue just rub at it dry and keep at it will all come off then a quick polish looks a million times better too Smile

hi sorry not been online for ages

firstly i was remapping the car when my laptop went dead which just my luck it happened during the map eraser process i was then left with a useless 206 Sad

£150 later i got a ecu technician to come out who un-soldered the chip from the ecu and replaced it

hurray i was up and running again

so i got enough guts to try the remapp again with my galletto i uploaded the maximum full power stage 2 mr whippy map and the car was cutting out when accelerating hard and hitting 3-4K revs.

because dave (mr whippy) aims for 80% more power over the original the problem causing the cutting out was worn parts which show up with high power maps

so i began changing parts to eliminate the problem

so upto now i have replaced the following parts

fuel rail sensor
maf sensor
cleaned fuel regulator
new fuel filter

after replacing all these parts the fault continued Sad

i then found a 110bhp 406 at the scrap yard and got the injectors out of it

so £60 later with the new injectors fitted the car works fine Very Happy

it came at bit of a shock when i removed the old injectors 3 of them was covered in some gunky type paste/dirt

and the 4th was covered in some sort of dry sutt powder (some sort of carbon)

the car now feels alot more responsive and no longer cutts out Very Happy so all been well the the engine problems have been solved

at last

i have also actually found some nice gloss black morettes which are waiting to be fitted Very Happy

for the morrettes ive ordered some

h7 and h1 rainbow bulbs (all weather bulbs)

and some rainbow indicator bulbs to remove that horrible orange glow (errrrr)

not a very good picture but i got my side strips cc

Mine are terrible slam so hard into potholes Sad 1 of my front wheels is slightly buckled because of it Sad

these are still a bit hard into and out of potholes but then it is dropped about 70mm atm lol.

speaking of potholes, am gutted as today i hit a really deep one and the front bumper bottomed out and has cracked Sad not a happy bunny.

i can fix buckled wheels if you came to the garage.....£60 to repair it (not my price, fixed price at the garage)

i think the garage sorted the buckle with weights as it wasnt really big but ill bare that in mind just in case it buckles even worse

ahhh i would be annoyed with that n the bumper Sad at least you can spray thoe Very Happy

before

after
