I must be sad, the site has barely been back an hour and I'm posting a thread about my car that isn't even a 206 Laughing .

For the record and anyone who doesn't know, the reason I'm a member in the first place is because I owned this:

And then the short-lived TT ownership:

And I'm now back in a hot hatch in the form of my Lupo GTI, which currently looks like this (apart from I've got the centre-caps back on in black):

Plans are currently on hold due to being made redundant, but the eventual aim is a Euro/cleaned/German (whatever you want to call it) style..... small, wide, and dished wheels, and sitting as low as is practically possible on coilovers. For now I'd be happy just to get it lowered over its freshly refurbed GTI Bathurst alloys though!

It's a Lupo mate Razz , but cheers! Very Happy

Gedney, I'll be treating this as a project thread so I'll update this thread as and when I make any changes.

Appreciate the comments everyone!

The reason I didn't have the TT very long is that it had a couple of problems I didn't know about when I bought it, a knackered window cable mechanism so the drivers side window didn't work, and one of the ballast unit's had gone on one of the HID headlights. Not exactly major issues I know, but I was also facing the prospect of the tax and MOT being due at the same time aswell.

All in all it was going to cost me a lot of money, MPG was poor too, and I could barely afford to own and run it, let alone modify it, and with it being an Audi I was scared something would go wrong and cost me a fortune...... basically I didn't have the money to own it comfortably.

I pretty much woke up one day, thought about it for a while and made my decision, and the next day I was driving home from a garage in a Lupo GTI having part ex'd the TT against it, all happened rather quickly!

I really do miss the TT though in a lot of ways, although there are things I don't miss aswell that the Lupo is better at!

I've kind of abandoned the Pepperpots, still don't know what to do with them TBH, I am tempted to have them powdercoated red with polished lips where I got the original wheels done, but I need a job first. Failing that I've thought of just selling them as they are, really don't know. I'm quite happy with my black GTI wheels though now they're in mint condition, until I can afford some wheels that are a bit more special!

Dale, I dunno mate Sad , I'm having a tough time finding a job at the minute, I'm lucky to have the car still really I guess! So everything's on hold for now.

Cheers for the other comments Very Happy
