#1: 206 1.4 idle speed to high Author: russman, Location: GuernseyPosted: Mon Dec 13, 2010 4:06 pm ---- Hi everyone hopfully someone can help, my 206 1.4 has been in the garage for some time and trying to sort out the high idleing speed i am talking about 14-1500rpm (idle). They are saying i need a new ECU possibly.
Anyone have any further ideas... or slightly cheeper ideas
Does anyone know if the Idle Speed Control Valve will do anything...
Cheers

#3: Re: 206 1.4 idle speed to high Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Dec 13, 2010 4:11 pm ---- idle is 850rpm +/- 100rpm.
Try cleaning/changing the ICV. Also check the throttle position sensor
