Please refer to my other thread for a pic

Just curious, now that I've got the vinyl on the car, is there any special requirements regarding cleaning the bonnet? Obviously, I already aviod drive through car washes with the electric brushes, but is there anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks, but what about the £5 hand car washes that you see everywhere? I'm worried they might accidentally rip the vinyl

Dont go to those polish hand car washes Neutral Just do it yourself, stop being lazy and take some pride in your car! Plus you always get the best results doing it yourself and you dont have to spend a fortune on products.

If it's staining already they must've used cheap stuff, one of my friends had his pillars and some rubber bits vinyl'd before christmas and after a harsh winter it's still good as new.

It's only stained because I haven't washed it in a while, I bet it will come out with a wash, I just don't want to use the wrong stuff

Try using normal vinyl cleaner, you'd be surprised how stains wont come out if you leave them too long.
