The left front ABS sensor ( the one thats faulty on your car ) is the one that tells the speedo how fast the car is moving.

Replace the cracked ring, erase the fault codes in the BSI memory & the speedo should then work fine.

lee did you just call my girl jewel a 2000 model :0 how dare you

and troy i think your problem with the speedo is my fault Sad sorry
we had blue dials in it before we traiderd her in, dave wanted them out to sell Sad
Take the whole display apart (take the plastic off the front) pull the needle of and put it back on


On another note im down pembroke dock now if you need me
