boot release mechanism

just been out to my car to find that the boot wouldnt lock and was open (even tho it seemed close) when the car was locked. i tried re-shutting it and re-locking the car but nothing is happening. is there was of fixing it?

Dude minedid this ten minutes ago, get in, keep shutting and opening the lock from inside using the key it will work in the end, then get out an try, must be the cold.

mine has stopped locking a while ago. not got round to fixing it yet

Pour a cup of water over the lock, then it should open with a small amount of force.
