#1: No spark!! Author: doug81, Location: StaffordshirePosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 10:49 am ---- I've been having problems starting my pug and was not so reliably informed that it was once again the dreaded coilpack to blame as there was no spark, I've just replaced it but still it won't start.....it turns over but doesn't fire up!! Any ideas!??

Leave the key in the ignition but switched off, now open the drivers door.
Do you hear the key in ignition warning sounding? ? ?

Its under the bonnet somewhere, where it is i've no idea, not had the pleasure of changing one on a 206 yet
Before you go looking for it you have made sure that the coil pack is plugged in correctly & also give the fuel cutoff switch a press.
Back right hand corner of the engine bay, red button, press it down.

Changed a few in my time but not on a 206 as I don't often get to work on early cars like yours.
