it would be REALLY handy for me if this worked!

#4: Re: Cigarette Lighter Author: fastcar, Location: south walesPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 3:44 pm ---- what does it mean? changeing lighter to ignition live
#5: Re: Cigarette Lighter Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 4:06 pm ---- So instead of the cigarette lighter having constant power, it only works when the ignition is on
#6: Re: Cigarette Lighter Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 4:09 pm ---- whats the benefit in this other than saving a small amount of power? What if your car died and you need to use a car charger for your phone and your stranded inthe middle of nowhere? Surely this would then be a downside?
#7: Re: Cigarette Lighter Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Mon Dec 20, 2010 4:13 pm ---- If you leave things plugged in, they will turn off with the ignition rather than drain the battery
You can just move the fuse back, if the ignition wouldn't come on, or take the wires out of the charger and put them on the battery.
Infact, i dunno even why I'm answering this because I know your taking the p**s
So go away DJ
