Electric window switches not working
-> 206 Problems

#1: Electric window switches not working Author: Abzynthe PostPosted: Sat Dec 25, 2010 5:19 pm

Ok, bit strange, my brother has got another 206 with electric mirrors, so ive stolen his sprayed electric window switch surround from his old car.
His switches have the auto drivers window switch and mine doesnt. I plugged his switches in without realising, and they dont work at all. So I plugged mine back in, and now they dont work either Sad

any suggestions?

Cars a T reg 1.6 XS if that helps?

Sounds odd tbh, have you got a live at the switch still? Check the fuse, should be under the steering in the fusebox. Not sure which one though

You will find the fuse for the windows has blown Wink

You cant plug an auto window switch in to a car with just normal electric windows as it blows the fuse for the windows Laughing

Just the fuse mate nothing to worry about, underneath the steering wheel, you may find that there are a few spares under there aswell, consult your peugeot manual and it should give you the number for window switches, i no because i made the same mistake earlier this year

One quick press can send the window up or down by itself.
