#3: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: Bailey, Location: Finding Dr. RobotnikPosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:15 pm ---- You could change backbox to standard just for taking it back in?! Then change it back.
#4: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: Mikey2uk, Location: StevenagePosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:16 pm ---- Wouldnt really worry about changing the exhaust back over due to this being a wear and tear item. Just take it back and get them to look at it.

yeah thats what i was thinkin because it says its not covered under warranty anyways so why would it matter but the only problem is the garage where i got my powerflow done kept my exhaust or sold it on ebay there's no way they still got it :((
#6: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: Mikey2uk, Location: StevenagePosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:24 pm ---- Dont worry about it then, Im sure the dealer you purchased the car from will be fine about it. Anyway you can point it out that its not covered.

#8: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: EuroPeugeot, Location: SW EnglandPosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:42 pm ---- I think my power steering pump is on its way out to be honest.
Any know if the pumps are easy to change? I'm guessing it can't be that hard?
#9: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: t1mmy, Location: ReadingPosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:45 pm ---- They will not void the warranty for power steering because of a non standard backbox. Mods will only void aspects of a warranty that they can be linked to.
#10: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: Brian, Location: VVT Land, FifePosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:46 pm ---- probably the pump! Check first though to make sure that it's not just the belt that's come loose. I've seen that happen a few times, even at halfords! "my battery's buggered...it's not, your drive belts not really well attached to your alternator there" LOL.
#11: Re: URGENT ADVICE NEEDED Author: Howey, Location: Kings LynnPosted: Tue Dec 28, 2010 4:59 pm ---- My steering goes stiff then loose too, but it only really seems to occur 1st thing in the morning when its cold so im not too worried tbh...

Bring on student loan to get it fixed
