#1: front suspension??please help guys... Author: Davo_Pug, Location: Wales/BhamPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 5:20 am ---- Hey People,
so I was at the lights yesterday in town, went to pull off to the left a 90 degree turn and heard a a single lound clonk sort of noise. almost as if someone had lobbed a tennis ball at speed at he car.but i know this had not happened. I pulled oer hoping not to see things spewing out of the car...had a look around. the passenger side suspenision seems the obvious thing to me at the moment...the top part of the spring(the flat pad bit on top seems to be rubbing slighty on the tyre now...the only thing is the car doesnt seem to look lower on either side...can anyone help please??I know its got to go the garage but want to look as if I know what is going on roughly as Im away at the moment so dont have my usual garage to hand and cant afford to get skanked.cheers guys any help appreciated
Davo

#3: Re: front suspension??please help guys... Author: imjeeves, Location: Glasgow / WellingPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 6:37 am ---- Could be a spring broken and lost only a single ring. Wont look any lower but the spring will go all over the place. The standard springs on the 206 are really poor.

#6: Re: front suspension??please help guys... Author: imjeeves, Location: Glasgow / WellingPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 9:15 am ---- A top mount bearing is about 10 pounds. Dunno bout the labor time. It would only take me about 1-2 hours to change it but a garage may be more. Say £50 per hour so about £150 all in
