#1: daytime running lights... Author: abs06, Location: East Sussex PostPosted: Wed Dec 29, 2010 6:43 am

Hi all.

Hope every one had a good xmas.

I was wondering if anyone has fitting DRL on a 206. I found some LED strip ones, and want to fit them to either under the headlights or under the grill.

Wondering if anyone knows how to wire them in. I dont want to wire them into the side lights.

Any help would be welcome.

Abdul

I have the black DRL on my 180. People told me I can just save money and put the strips under my stock cluster but it just looks RICE to me.

The real DRL cluster just looks so much better

Yeah you would be able to run them off the ignition quite easily. Splicing from the sidelight wiring is your best bet...

Just be careful not to go OTT with the LED's though because is is a slippery slope into the chavvy mire if you arent careful! Laughing

See if you can find someone local with Peugeot Planet software.

Turn the daytime running light setting from " Absent " to " Present " in your BSI configuration set up.

Then start the car up & see what lights come on with the engine running.

Might be a good test if someone with PPS & a multiplexed 206 gives it a try?
