#1: running problem Author: leew031, Location: manchesterPosted: Sat Jan 01, 2011 5:46 am ---- Hi,
Got a 206 1.1 and from suddenly driving fine it cut out, and when it starts up its like a dumper really jumpy sounds awful and i believe its only running on 3 cylinders now. When successfully started up (But running rough) the fumes from the back are defiantly some unburned fuel but dont know whats causing the problem.
Any ideas
Thanks guys

Then check the plug, lead, & distributer cap for damage. Might have to replace them anyway as it might be hard to see.

206 dont have
HT leads
Distrubutor caps
Check the spark plugs aint NGK
Check the coil pack is Bouricord

Check the spark plugs, NGK = throw them in the bin ASAP & replace with Bosch Super Plus.
Check the coil pack connector plug for the suppressor mod on pin 4.
Peugeot / Citroen part number 6555 K9 Suppressor if it hasn't already been fitted

Peugeot / Citroen issued a technical service bulletin to there dealers warning about the problems NGK spark plugs cause.
Bosch or OE Eyquem spark plugs everytime.
