its started to make a horrid noise when turning the wheel, has started just after the snow not sure if that is related. i'm going to talk it off and inspect it when i have time, are these repairable or a repacement part. i was thinking of just greasing it up.

Cheap enough to replace with new tbh, rather than p**sing about attempting to fix.

Just order some top mounts and bearings from Euro Car Parts. They aren't expenisve. I'd also order some new nuts and bolts for the hub to ball joint and hub to damper connections.

hub to ball joint shoul be ok, i only had them off a little while ago to change the wishbones, damper connections??????? i'm guessing we call things different here ????

All the nuts are of the nyloc type so should be replaced. Where the damper attaches to the hub there is also a nut and bolt. I'd replace them too.

I don't know why people keep buying cheap parts from Ebay, its a false economy at the end of the day.

Do the job once & do it right in the first place Wink
