Multiplexed then.

You tried rebooting the BSI unit?

Could be the com2000 unit failing.

Try the BSI reboot first & then see if it starts, if it still wont start see if the key in ignition warning is working or not.

These can cause issues with the multiplex system.

How near to the BM34 fusebox is the ballest unit on the passenger side?

ok we got the car back and fixed,

they did diagnostics and every warning showed a fault in the electrics,
they changed some pins within the ecu and for now its resolved the problem,
expensive tho

Hey i had the same problem as this only 2 weeks ago, aswell as engine immobiliser fault it would also say anti pollution fault. i had the AA out twice and a local mechanic take a look at it but none of them could diagnose it. it was still under warranty so i sent it back to the garage i bought it from and they thought it was the chip in the key so they asked me if they could send it back to peugot garage to be fixed and i agreed. Apparently they knew exactly what was wrong with it and found the fault in no time, it was something called a PSF fuse box which had naffed so they replaced it and it has been fine since (fingers crossed) The peugot garage said it was a common fault in some of the 206 models. I'm not saying that's what wrong with yours but just thought it may help Smile

Had this fault on mine when I replaced the battery in the car and the key fob. You may need to get the fault cleared from the ECU, Pug did this for me and hasn't come back since.
