hey i am gunna fit my gti spoiler soon once it has been sprayed and i am pritty sure i have seen on here befor about the aerial hitting it as the boot opens. has any one got any imput on this and also i have found a stubby one on ebay is this short enough to eliminate it as much as possible?

What year is your GTi? As you may not need this......

If you like listening to the radio I wouldnt bother as they are rubbish at getting a signal

Yeh what year is your 206 as the aerial positioned moved forward about an inch as the earlia 206's with rear mounted aerials werent designd with a spoiler in mind hence why they moved the aerial forward a bit

Just a quick one my ariel is on the front of the car by front window screen but has come off and left a hold and a metal lump where it should be how can i fix this? Think it got snapped off!

All I know is GSM isn't for normal radio use Wink

There's bound to be a newer Peugeot / Citroen with a stubby radio aerial if somebody has a look on service box Laughing

If it says GSM in the description then its no good.

i have a 51 plate gti so i am guessing i have the mount furhter back. guess i need to find one without the gsm thing then. if any one finds one can u post the link as i have no idea where to look.

erm not sure to be honest with your age then as my y plate was to the back but my 02 plate is a bit more to the front so you would have to measure it

51 was the reg was the time of the cross over from phase 1 and 2. Get a pic up as its easy to tell

No it wast, that was non plexed to multiplexed cross over.

Phase 2 happened in late 2003 Wink

It doesnt affect the aerial so dpnt worry.

Its just a lot of people still get mixed up between.

Cross over from non plexed to multiplexed which was in 2001

Cross over from phase 1 to phase 2 which was late 2003

ok cool so i have a phase 1 so i need the stubby aerial just need to find one with out the gsm thig now so i get a descent reception
