#1: Ice INSIDE My Car Author: JDave, Location: Airdrie, ScotlandPosted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:54 am ---- Hi,
Went into my car yesterday after work and the inside of the windscreen was frozen. i.e. I had to scrape the frost from the inside.
What the hell? I cannot fathom why this is.
Any ideas?
Thanks
JD

#3: Re: Ice INSIDE My Car Author: Ali_H, Location: Chichester, SussexPosted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:55 am ---- Condensation has frozen.
#4: Re: Ice INSIDE My Car Author: MrrNoName, Location: UKPosted: Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:55 am ---- this happens in my GF's car, somehow moisture got inside the car onto the window, and it got below freezing and froze onto the window on the inside.
could be because the car has a small leak and water got in and attempted to evaporate. or could be because you sat in the car a while after it was turned off before you got out. causing the windows to steam up. which then froze over night Last edited by MrrNoName on Fri Jan 07, 2011 6:56 am; edited 1 time in total

Then wipe all the moisture off the windscreen.
Give a good clean with some decent window cleaner and some newspaper.
Should stop it freezing.
Either that and/or when driving put your blower onto taking air from outside rather than re-circulating. Then when stopping (and leaving overnight) make sure that no moisture is on the inside.
