As far as i am aware the remote locking bit can be programmed at home
NOT without the correct diagnostic equipment it cant
To code a new / replacement fob to the car it has to be hooked up to Peugeot Planet or other suitable diag kit.
The only thing an owner can do is RESYNC a previously working fob that stops working after a battery change / battery disconnection
I repeat, you CANNOT code a replacement / new fob with the resync instructions, your wasting your time even attempting it

Appreciate all your help. Thank you.

You then tested at the rear cluster? ? ?
Its such a simple circuit & ive never heard of a BSI failure of the reverse light circuit yet.
#19: Re: Reverse Light Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Fri Mar 18, 2011 5:23 pm ---- Don't think the reverse light even uses the BSI
#20: Re: Reverse Light Author: Andy180+, Location: doncaster south yorkshirePosted: Fri Mar 18, 2011 5:26 pm ---- dont think it does, hell maybe wrong but not found bsi and reverse light linked before
#21: Re: Reverse Light Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Fri Mar 18, 2011 5:28 pm ---- Just thought it was an ignition fuse > switch > bulb > earth
CBA to look up the wiring diagram

BSI must get a signal from reverse light switch, how else would the rear wiper in reverse function work
#24: Re: Reverse Light Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 7:04 am ---- Might just act like a switch input on a relay.
I'll have a look at the diagram when I get two mins
#25: Re: Reverse Light Author: PugGti180, Location: ScotlandPosted: Mon Jul 02, 2012 3:01 pm ---- I recently had another engine put in my 206 gti 180 and now the reverse lights don't work as well as the auto rear wipe linked when in reverse. Have tried and tested all the above mentioned but still nothing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
