#1: Crazy Speedo! Help Please Author: swfcdan, Location: SheffieldPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 7:47 am ---- Hi all, my speedometer seems to have gone crazy on the car.
All the dials appear to work with the exception of the rev counter.
The needle has gone all the way past the red zone and is now hitting agaist the temperature needle.
Does anyone know how i can fix this?
FYI, its a 2000 (V) 206Gti

Could try dismantling the cluster and resetting the needle.

Yeah you could just get a new speedo, just make sure it comes from a 2001 or older car with less mileage than your current speedo
