#2: Re: tyre goin bald Author: Mrs_Howey, Location: WorthingPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:09 pm ---- I think you should get your tracking done if it out, personally i don't think it handles better when its out at all.

which is good
#4: Re: tyre goin bald Author: pug206lx, Location: Taking a gearbox off somewherePosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:13 pm ---- Get the tracking done on it. You won't feel any difference either way but you'll go through loads of tyres if you don't do it, which will obviously hit your pocket.
#5: Re: tyre goin bald Author: vanman_foci, Location: Barry, South WalesPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:14 pm ---- oh front. my bad.
yeah tracking is out
#6: Re: tyre goin bald Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:15 pm ---- Get the alignment done.
Check the springs aren't sagging and the ball joints aren't worn as well. Tracking place would probably check them anyway
#7: Re: tyre goin bald Author: 20619d, Location: barnstaplePosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:20 pm ---- it has new springs and new wish bones. is the tracking arm near the front wheel as can adjust it abit so don't wear so much. then when get tyres dne can get dne propirly
#8: Re: tyre goin bald Author: Lee, Location: EnglandPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:22 pm ---- You need it tracked then. Every time a suspension alteration is made, it should have the tracking checked.
Don't attempt to do it yourself
#9: Re: tyre goin bald Author: 20619d, Location: barnstaplePosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 3:25 pm ---- ok kool will get it dne soon

as everyone says get the alinment done, and no it wont handle better becouse you have less tyre in contact with the road thus less grip and youl go throw tyres like a 17 yr old on happy pills
#12: Re: tyre goin bald Author: Howey, Location: Kings LynnPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 4:24 pm ---- Is it lowered?
#13: Re: tyre goin bald Author: meady, Location: basingstokePosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 4:57 pm ---- Judging by his sig then yeh i would of thought so
#14: Re: tyre goin bald Author: Howey, Location: Kings LynnPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 4:59 pm ---- Well thats the cause of the uneven wear then.
#15: Re: tyre goin bald Author: meady, Location: basingstokePosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 5:00 pm ---- So due to it being lowerd means the tyres wnt wear evenly? ??
