#106: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:02 pm ---- Yeah indeed, you get unlimited spam in your own thread ^^
And no Jamie, I will not go skiing in a blizzard at 1 in the morning!
I'm funding it by working 3 to 4 days a week on reasonable pay for a part time job, and not having to now go back to uni (apart from for exams) until october! No lectures in term 3!

#108: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:02 pm ---- You sir, are a f4g.
It going to be ready for April then? Stop p**sing about in the Alps, and get your spanners out, it'll only take 5mins to fit.
#110: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Jamie, Location: Ring y0Posted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:08 pm ---- That's with the compulsory tea break. Also man up, your game is weak. I'd love a blizzard, I'd be out in it right now skiing down the side of the alps with my dong out.
#111: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: SAB206, Location: North WestPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:13 pm ---- Have you got a D-DAY then? of when it will all be done?
#112: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:13 pm ---- I start work on sunday when I get back.
Going to give it a jack up either side, wheels off and fit my new suspension first. Have to send off the ECU to courtenay sport to get mapped. Along with taking both front and rear clams off (if I have the right tools for the rear one, which I don't think I do as you have to take the seats out). Then on the following saturday is when a mate is doing timing chain and forged rods at the back, with me working on the charge cooler at the front, once all that is done it's then just onto the S/C fitment really and plumbing everything in.
In, at the most, 4 weeks time, at the least a week and a bit, it should be mapped for the s/c, have the charger fitted and the actuator set right, have a full milltek downpipe/precat/race cat/backbox fitted, have a shiny new design forge chargecooler on, and new Gaz adjustable coilovers (SO easy to bring up/down on a vx, dont even need to jack it) and hopefully will be whining away down the back roads.
I'll probably pop up a post each evening showing what work is going on if I can! Last edited by Seb on Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:14 pm; edited 1 time in total

#119: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Fri Apr 02, 2010 3:45 pm ---- Also just got myself some wide air intakes like the tubby's have to help cooling on the s/c.
Debating actually keeping them in black... and not painting them silver.
