#92: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Mon Mar 22, 2010 10:13 am ---- I'm itching to get home because my last parts have arrived I think!
Also figured out it will be the 21st supercharged VX worldwide when it's done

#97: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Mon Mar 22, 2010 1:49 pm ---- Charge cooler rad has arrived though, looks neat. It was custom built by Forge Motorsport to a design made up by a friend who has just supercharged. This is the second one to be made, has 50% more capacity than the pro alloy version so should show a significantly higher cooling than the normal ones people use, and is dual pass rather than single

#100: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Wed Mar 24, 2010 6:59 am ---- Nitrons were too much in the end. Don't want to fork out £1200 for them...
Went for Gaz coilovers as some numpty had them up new on eBay for £425 instead of £525 so I grabbed them before they noticed their err.
Called them up and he admitted they were wrong but would get them out to me asap with my requested spring rates of 425 front 475 rear.
Looking forward to putting them on and playing around as there's no p**sing about to adjust them on a VX, just turn the wheel on full lock and put your hand in to adjust
Will definately be altering them for track use.
#101: Re: Seb's VX Thread Author: Seb, Location: Under your bedPosted: Wed Mar 24, 2010 8:52 am ---- Also picked up my dual pass manifold, along with the gift of a cupra R splitter which apprently look good on the VX... will see about that one, and my full Milltek system with downpipe and race cat.
Just been to the dealers and got a Saab turbo MLS head gasket for slightly lower compression and some head bolts to go along with it.
Now just waiting on my shocks and will all be good to go as soon as I'm back from France.
