#1: loss of power/ boost Author: sgwilson, Location: shropshirePosted: Fri Jan 14, 2011 3:56 pm ---- could do with a little help. my 2.0 hdi is down on power and hits a flat spot after 3 grand. has been like this as long as i had it and my friend noticed it the other day when he was driving it. any help would be much appriciated. have a feeling there is something wrong with the turbo, or something stopping the turbo from boosting propperly. thanks very much again
#2: Re: loss of power/ boost Author: Seabook, Posted: Fri Jan 14, 2011 4:11 pm ---- stock turbo kick in after 1.5K rpm, full boost after 2K rpm. it is normal if you don't feel much power after 3K

I shift at 3k revs as the turbo's run out of puff by then, think it's normal on the 2.0l HDi. Mines been like that since I got it

a remap will not sort that out.
the peak torque is still between 2K and 2.5K
