#1: normal oil temp Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Sat Jan 15, 2011 6:18 am ---- Went on a short drive from plympton to lee mill and on the way back noticed my oil temp gauge was 90 degrees, is this normal for such a short distance i.e. 5miles?

Coolant temp at the time was sitting around 90 degree's.
Just round town once warmed up the oil temp sit's around 90 degree's

mine normally takes a couple of miles to get up to 90 and then sits at that unless im driving really hard in which case it will creep up to just over 95 then once i slow down it drops straight back to 90
