Author: Jay794, Location: Sheffield/Chesterfield/DronfieldPosted: Sun Jan 16, 2011 1:35 pm ---- Only if someone spent a s**t load of money on it or did the work themselves, the whole reason I'm driving a 206 now is because I part-x'd the old Fiesta as it was in my local mechs words "a death trap"
#21: Re: Don't you hate it when you look into things? Author: badj, Location: WiltshirePosted: Sun Jan 16, 2011 5:49 pm ---- Never underestimate the power of a dodgy MOT station and/or some rum bugger.
I had a ph2 306 that had a dodgy line to the sill (the sill usually curves inwards this one didnt look right), i got rid of all the filler in that area and found a chunk of sill had been cut away and a peice of aluminium with a couple of rivets in its place, followed by a metric ton of badly shaped filler... it passed its mot previously like that - not saying the MOT station could chop away at filler to find the flaws but still..
