#1: Having trouble finding replacement front wings? Author: Highmac, Location: North WarksPosted: Mon Jan 17, 2011 5:12 am ---- It's probably because Ford Puma owners have discovered the shape is just right for repairing their rusty REAR wings www.pumapeople.com/for...p;p=864537
(And apologies now if this is not news!)

Didnt want to point out to them that by the time the arch has been cut, grinded and welded there will be no galvanised layer left.

Hi everyone,
after noticing a couple of little bubbles on the passenger side rear arch of my ford puma; I decided to have a look and today, this is what I found after removing tons of fibreglass.
As far as I know, they don't do the rear arches for the ford puma. What can I do?
Thanks

Hi guys,
I had it repaired by my panel beater. I tried to upload photos but I think they're too big. He used a second hand peugeot 206 driver's side front wing which appearently has exactly the same arch. In addition, it's galvanised metal.

To answer some of your queries; As far as I know, all 206 have the same wings maybe except the 206 plus which has a new front end. As I already said, you have to use the other side; driver's for passenger arch and vice versa.
I don't know how much work was required to get it like this. Obviously, nothing lasts forever; but at least in Malta there is no road salt and the climate is much better than in the UK
I will post new pics when ready

I read it that the FRONT wing fits the opposite side rear puma wing

Well I've just got back from checking the Peugeot 206 wings and they do fit. Using the latest in checking and inspection equipment (hold that there mate, while I have a look at this) I think they are within a millimeter ish of the Puma shape and they're the right length. If you're doing both sides it's not going to matter much anyway.
